Miami International Boat Show 2027: where to stay for the four venues

Last reviewed: November 6, 2026. Sources for this page are listed in its fact sheet.

Short answer first. The Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show runs Wednesday, February 10 to Sunday, February 14, 2027, and the 2027 edition uses four venues, not the six you'll see in older guides. Two sit side by side on Miami Beach: the Miami Beach Convention Center, the central hub with boats up to 49 feet, and Pride Park next door, the entry point for entry level boats. The third is Sailor's Cove at IGY Yacht Haven Grande Miami, 838 MacArthur Causeway, the sailing enclave. The fourth is the Miami Beach Yacht Collection on Collins Avenue between 44th and 47th Streets, with powerboats and motor yachts from 30 to 125 feet. One ticket covers all four venues, and water taxis and free shuttle services connect them, per the organizer. Where you stay depends on which pair you'll live in. Pick that first. The hotel follows.

The four venues, and the two clusters they form

The Convention Center cluster. The Miami Beach Convention Center and Pride Park are one stop, not two. If your show is trailer boats, gear, electronics and entry level boats, this is your home ground, and the days here are indoor and park days. Stay anywhere from South Beach up through Mid Beach and you're a short ride or a fair walk away.

The Collins Avenue cluster. The Yacht Collection stretches along Collins Avenue between 44th and 47th Streets, by the Fontainebleau and Eden Roc. This is the big boat ground: motor yachts you tour by appointment and broker docks. If your show is yacht shopping, stay in Mid Beach and walk the docks in the morning before the crowds thicken.

The causeway outlier. Sailor's Cove, at the Yacht Haven Grande site on the MacArthur Causeway, is the sailing stop and the one venue that isn't on the beach. It pairs naturally with a downtown or Brickell stay, across the bay, and with the shuttle and water taxi runs the organizer lays on between venues. Sailors should plan one causeway day and do it whole, rather than bouncing back and forth.

A warning worth printing plainly: guides listing Venetian Marina, Herald Plaza and Museum Park Marina as 2027 venues are working from the old downtown layout. Those three are not 2027 venues. The organizer's 2027 release lists the four above, and that's the list this page uses.

Hours and tickets, from the organizer

The show opens Wednesday, February 10, from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday to Saturday, February 11 to 13, it runs 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, February 14, it closes at 5 p.m. after a 10 a.m. open. It's the 86th annual edition. Tickets are on sale now at miamiboatshow.com and they're digital only.

Prices from the organizer's August 14, 2026 on sale release: an adult one day general admission ticket is $45, and a two day ticket is $78. The Wednesday preview day is $66 for one day, or $105 for a preview plus general admission two day. Youth tickets for ages 6 to 15 are $17, children 5 and under are free, a family four pack for Thursday to Sunday is $99, and the Super Sunday adult ticket is $30. The Windward VIP Lounge returns at the Yacht Collection; the release prints no VIP price, so none is printed here. Check the show site for it. The two day ticket is the honest value line for most visitors, because one day per cluster is how this show actually gets done.

Where to stay, by venue focus

Convention Center focus: Mid Beach or South Beach. Stay near the Convention Center itself and the cluster is a walk. Our Convention Center guide covers the blocks around it, and the Miami Beach hotel list sorts the Collins corridor by block. February is the most crowded month on the visitor calendar, and Boat Show week shares it with the Coconut Grove Arts Festival at the weekend. Book early or pay the late tax.

Yacht Collection focus: Mid Beach, on Collins. The docks run 44th to 47th Streets, so a Mid Beach room puts the big boats at your door and the Convention Center a short ride south. This is also the quieter end of the beach at night, which suits buyers who start early.

Sailing focus, or a downtown trip anyway: downtown and Brickell. Sailor's Cove sits on the causeway between downtown and the beach, so a downtown room splits the difference between the causeway venue and the shuttle runs to the beach venues. Check downtown and PortMiami area rates on Expedia if that's your base. Downtown also puts Bayside and the bay cruise docks in walking distance for an off day.

Moving between venues on show days

The organizer's plan is simple at the level it has published: the four venues are connected by water taxis and free shuttle services, and one ticket admits you to all four. The detailed 2027 route maps and timetables weren't in the on sale release, so this page doesn't print a route table it can't stand behind. When the show publishes its transport page, that's the table to plan from. Until then, plan by cluster: finish one cluster before you cross to the other, and treat any cross bay move as a half hour of your day, not a hop.

Fill a spare half day on the water rather than in a shuttle line. Viator's Miami bay cruises page lists the sightseeing runs out of Bayside that week, and our Boat Show event guide covers the show itself, tickets and what to see inside each venue.

Frequently asked questions

How many venues does the 2027 show have?
Four. Older guides list six because downtown marinas hosted parts of past editions. The 2027 roster is the Convention Center, Pride Park, Sailor's Cove and the Yacht Collection.

Which stay area suits a first visit?
Mid Beach. It walks to the Yacht Collection, rides easily to the Convention Center, and sits calmer than South Beach during the February crush.

Is one day enough?
For one cluster, yes. For the whole show, no. The two day ticket at $78 against two $45 days is the organizer's own hint about how people actually do it.

What else is on that week?
Plenty. The Miami in February guide maps the month, and our hotel day passes guide covers a pool day if the show days run long.
