Miami hotel day passes
Last reviewed: November 4, 2026. Sources for this page are listed in its fact sheet.
Short answer first. You don't need a room to use a Miami Beach resort pool. Dozens of Miami hotels sell day access through ResortPass, and the pass buys you the pool deck, a towel, wifi, and food and drink service for one day. What it buys isn't the same at every hotel. One pass covers the beach and one stops at the pool gate, one hotel limits day guests to weekdays, and cabanas are always a separate tier above admission. This page compares the four names people search most: Fontainebleau, Eden Roc, Mondrian South Beach, and The Standard.

How a day pass works, and what it usually covers
You pick a hotel and a date on ResortPass, pay online, check in at the front desk, and the deck is yours until the pass hours end. ResortPass says most Miami passes include pool access, towel service, wifi, and poolside food and drink ordering, and many add beach access or a hot tub. Spa access, day rooms, cabanas, and valet parking sit in the add on column at most properties, and a platform fee lands at checkout. Read your listing before you pay. Two passes on the same street can cover different things.
Cancellation is the forgiving part. ResortPass states that most bookings can be canceled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before check in for a full refund, with the rule set per property at booking. Winter weekends still sell out, so book ahead. Prices move by property, date, and demand, so this page prints none. The live listing for your date is the price that counts.
Eden Roc: the clearest yes for families
Eden Roc Miami Beach, at 4525 Collins Avenue, tells day visitors they're welcome in plain words. Its own pools page says guests without a reservation can spend the day at its three pools and sends them to ResortPass, where the hotel sells a pool day pass, a separate beach pass, spa passes, and daybeds as distinct products. That split matters. The pool pass covers the pools and leaves the beach out, so price both products before assuming one pass does it all.
The child pricing is the other reason families land here. Eden Roc sells its pool pass at a lower child rate alongside the adult rate, which isn't the pattern everywhere on this page. Start here and make the other hotels beat it. Our Eden Roc guide covers the rooms and the Nobu hotel at the same address.

Fontainebleau: the full resort day, spa included
The Fontainebleau, at 4441 Collins Avenue, runs the largest pool deck in this comparison. Its own 2026 materials count 11 pools and 33 cabanas, plus the 40,000 square foot Lapis Spa, from the quiet Oasis Pool to the Arkadia day club pool and a kids pool. Day access sells through ResortPass as a combined Lapis spa, pool, beach, and fitness pass, with daybeds as a separate product for two. You're buying the spa in the same ticket.
The hotel also sells cabanas and daybeds direct, so compare both routes for your date. Pool entry for overnight guests runs on a room card and wristband system, a reminder that day capacity is controlled here. Book before you drive over. Our Fontainebleau guide has the full property rundown.

Mondrian and Baia Beach Club: the bay side day
The Mondrian South Beach, at 1100 West Avenue, sits on Biscayne Bay, and that one fact changes the product. Day access sells through ResortPass under the Baia Beach Club name, and what you get is a pool deck and lounge scene facing the bay and the downtown skyline. There's no ocean beach at this address. If your plan is sand, this is the wrong pass. If your plan is a long lunch, a pool, and sunset over the skyline, it's the right one. ResortPass also lists a Baia spa day pass for a quieter version of the same deck. See our Mondrian South Beach guide for the rooms.

The Standard: adults only, weekdays only
The Standard Spa, Miami Beach, at 40 Island Avenue on Belle Isle, plays by different rules, and its own FAQ page states them plainly. Pool access is for members and hotel guests, and day passes are the exception: the hotel sells them online for Monday to Thursday only, based on availability, covering the pool and the third floor spa rooms. The spa is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and there's a second route in. Book a spa service above the hotel's stated spend levels, lower on weekdays and higher from Friday to Sunday, and the hydrotherapy rooms come with it that day.
The hotel is adults only, with guests 18 and over in the pool and spa areas, so this isn't a family pass at any price. Parking is valet only, so add that charge before you compare. For the stay version, read our Standard Miami Beach guide.

Which pass fits your day
Cruise passengers with a free day. PortMiami to Miami Beach is about 15 to 20 minutes by car in normal traffic, so a Mid Beach pass at Eden Roc or Fontainebleau is an easy port day. Buy before your ship docks, and read our hotels for cruise passengers guide if the day might turn into a night.
Families. Eden Roc, for the child rate and the three pools. The Standard is adults only, and Arkadia at Fontainebleau is an adults day club pool inside a family resort, so check which pool your pass opens first.
A group day with a base camp. Price the cabana or daybed tier, not admission. The shaded base with service is a separate product from the pass that gets you through the gate. For a quiet weekday instead, take The Standard on a Monday to Thursday pass or a Baia spa pass. When the day turns into stay talk, compare the same hotels on the Miami hotels hub and fill the trip out with a Miami tour booked through Viator.

Frequently asked questions
Do Miami hotel day passes include a room?
No. A standard pass covers the pool deck and the listed extras for one day. A day room is a separate ResortPass product, sold by some hotels for daytime hours, for when you need a shower and a door that closes.
Can kids use a Miami day pass?
It depends on the hotel. Eden Roc sells a child rate for its pool pass. The Standard is adults only, with no guests under 18 in the pool and spa areas. Every listing states its age rules.
Is parking included in a day pass?
Usually not. Parking sits in the add on column at most properties, and at The Standard parking is valet only. Add the charge when you compare hotels.
Why are there no prices on this page?
Pass prices change by date and demand, and a printed price would mislead you. The live ResortPass listing for your date shows the current price. Most bookings can be canceled up to 24 hours before check in for a full refund, per the rule printed at booking.
