SOBEWFF 2027: the ticketed events worth booking first
Last reviewed: November 6, 2026. Sources for this page are listed in its fact sheet.
Short answer first. The Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival presented by Capital One runs Thursday, February 25 to Sunday, February 28, 2027. It's the 26th annual edition, with more than 90 events and more than 500 chefs and personalities spread from Homestead to Fort Lauderdale. You can't do 90 events. Nobody can. Book the big beach tents first, because they anchor the weekend and they're the rooms that fill: the Grand Tasting Village on Saturday and Sunday, Guy Fieri's Tournament of Champions LIVE on Friday night, and Tacos and Tequila on Saturday night. Then add one Sunday event and one dinner, and stop. Tickets went on general sale on November 2, 2026 at sobewff.org, so the buying window is open now, not in January. This page prints no per event prices, because prices live on each event's own listing and move as tiers sell. The listing is the price. Check it there.

Book first: the Grand Tasting Village, February 27 and 28
Goya Foods' Grand Tasting Village is the festival's center of gravity, running Saturday, February 27 and Sunday, February 28, 2027 on the beach at Ocean Drive in Miami Beach, at 13th Street in recent editions. The festival counts more than 45 restaurants and more than 1,200 products poured and plated across the Village, with the Publix Culinary Demonstrations running through both days. On Sunday, E11EVEN Miami takes over the Village courtyard. This is the one ticket that gives a first timer the whole festival in a single afternoon, and it's the right first purchase for almost everyone. Pick Saturday if you want the full field at its freshest. Pick Sunday if the rest of your weekend is already spoken for.
Book second: Tournament of Champions LIVE, Friday, February 26
Coca-Cola presents Guy Fieri's Tournament of Champions LIVE on Friday, February 26, 2027, hosted by Guy Fieri. The television format, a bracket of chefs cooking head to head, runs as a live festival event, which makes it the Friday night anchor for anyone who follows the show. Friday night at SOBEWFF is a contest between the big ticket dinners and one headline event. If you're buying one Friday product, this is the one with the broadest pull, and headline Friday events are the ones regulars buy in the first wave.
Book third: Tacos and Tequila, Saturday, February 27
Tacos and Tequila runs Saturday, February 27, 2027, hosted by Aaron Sanchez. Saturday night is the festival's deepest bench, with parties and dinners stacked across Miami Beach and the mainland, and this is the Saturday night event built for a crowd rather than a collector. Pair it with the Grand Tasting Village earlier the same day only if you pace the afternoon. Two big eating events in one day is a plan that looks fine in November and feels different at 9 p.m. in February. Be honest in November.

Sunday, February 28: pick one of two
Overtown EatUp. Sunday, February 28, 2027, hosted by Marcus Samuelsson at The Urban in Overtown. It's the festival's mainland anchor that day and the strongest reason to cross the causeway all weekend, in a neighborhood whose food story our Overtown and Little Havana coverage follows year round.
Classic American Eats. Also Sunday, February 28, 2027: Classic American Eats, Iconic Foods that Make America Delicious, hosted by Andrew Zimmern, with a performance by Rev Run. It's the festival's closing event. If your flight home is Monday, close the festival here and give Sunday night to it.
Both on one Sunday is possible on a map and punishing in practice. Pick the neighborhood you care about more, Overtown or the beach, and commit.
How the sale works, and where the dinners fit
The sale order for 2027 is already history, which is itself the useful fact: Capital One cardholders and Miami Beach residents had presale windows from October 26, 2026, and the general public sale opened November 2, 2026 at 9 a.m. Eastern. What's left is the ordinary discipline of a ticketed festival. The big tents and the named host events go first, the intimate dinners and master classes go quietly and early too, and the late releases fill the gaps. If a dinner series or a master class is the event you'd cross the country for, buy it before the tents. For everyone else, tents first, one dinner second.
Fill the spaces between festival events with the city's own food, at normal prices. Viator's Miami food tours page lists the guided runs through Little Havana and Wynwood that week, and our SOBEWFF festival guide covers how the festival works end to end, parking and beach logistics included.
Where to stay for the tent days
The Grand Tasting Village sits on the beach, so a South Beach room turns the two biggest days into walks. That matters more at this festival than at most: you'll be eating and drinking in the sun, and a ten minute walk home beats a causeway ride at closing time. Stay on or near Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue for the tent days, and treat a mainland dinner as the one planned trip. The 100 percent figure that closes the case for the whole event: all of the festival's net proceeds benefit the Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Florida International University, which has received more than $46 million from the festival to date, and more than 1,500 FIU students work the festival each year. The festival is produced by FIU with Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits.

When did tickets go on sale?
Presales ran from October 26, 2026 and the general sale opened November 2, 2026. Tickets are on sale now at sobewff.org, and the headline events are the ones to buy first.
Are prices printed anywhere reliable?
On each event's own listing at sobewff.org. Prices vary by event and tier, which is why this guide prints none rather than quoting a figure that may have sold through.
