Miami Art Week Fair Planner
Last reviewed: November 1, 2026. Sources for this page are listed in its fact sheet.
Short answer first. Miami Art Week runs Monday, November 30 to Sunday, December 6, 2026, and nobody sees all of it. The working method is comparison, then commitment: the eight fairs below are the ones with confirmed 2026 dates and venues, each listed in the same order of dates, venue, scale, and ticket note, so you can pick two or three, buy the right tickets, and walk one of the three day routes at the bottom of this page instead of improvising in traffic. Art Basel is the anchor and opens to the public last, on Friday, December 4; the satellites open from Tuesday, December 1, which is why the week rewards arriving before the main fair does.

The fairs, compared
Every entry checked November 1, 2026 against the fair's own announcements. Prices are printed only where a source listed them; where a fair sells through its own shop without a listing we could verify, the entry says so.

Venue: Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Drive. Scale: 272 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and territories, on a reconfigured single floor. Three routes that work
Route 1, the convention center day. Art Basel when the doors open, Design Miami across the street while your eyes are still fresh, then the free layer: the new outdoor James Turrell work presented by the Turrell Art Foundation and Art Basel with Pace Gallery, and Public Art Fund's Between Tides, artist designed ping pong tables in Collins Park that visitors are meant to play on. Both are free and outdoors, per Art Basel. Finish with INK Miami's suites on Collins Avenue if your feet allow. This route never leaves a six block box, which is the point.
Route 2, the sand day. Untitled Art on the sand at 12th Street in the morning, the beach itself for the middle of the day, then InScope's pavilions at 8th Street as the light goes, when its performance program wakes up. Add Ocean Drive dinner on the way back north. Two fairs, one street, no car.
Route 3, the mainland day. NADA at Ice Palace Studios first, because it closes Saturday, then Art Miami and CONTEXT at One Herald Plaza, then one museum: Perez Art Museum Miami sits minutes from the pavilions, and the Institute of Contemporary Art anchors the Design District to the north. Our Miami museums guide maps both. Do the mainland on a weekday if you can; the causeways are the week's bottleneck, as our traffic and parking guide sets out.
Whichever routes you pick, the standing rules hold: buy fair tickets only from the fairs' own sites, keep one day unplanned for the exhibition you hear about on day two, and book the room before the tickets. Fair week is the most expensive hotel week of the Miami year, and the convention center blocks go first; our hotels near the convention center guide ranks the walkable options.

Frequently asked questions
When is Miami Art Week 2026?
Monday, November 30 to Sunday, December 6, 2026. The satellite fairs open from Tuesday, December 1; Art Basel's public days are Friday, December 4 to Sunday, December 6.
Which fairs should a first timer pick?
Art Basel for the main event, Untitled for discovery on the sand, and one mainland fair, NADA or Art Miami, for range. The three routes above are built to that logic.
What does Art Week cost in tickets?
One fair day runs from free (INK Miami, with registration, and the Collins Park public art) through NADA's listed early bird day tickets from $45 to an Art Basel day ticket from $92. The $132 Art Basel and Design Miami combination is the best value pairing on the beach side.
Where should you stay for Art Week?
Near the convention center if the main fair is your anchor: the Collins Avenue corridor and Mid Beach put every beach side fair in this planner within a walk or one trolley ride. Book in November; December rates only move one way.
